Mickey Mouse shaped vegan ‘chicken’ nuggets are set to launch in major stores across the U.S.

The nuggets are part of the Incogmeato range by MorningStar Farms’, which is owned by food giant Kellogg’s.

According to Kellogg’s, the nuggets contain 57 percent less fat and 35 percent less sodium than regular chicken nuggets, and are a good source of fiber and iron.

Thanks for watching!

‘So delighted’

“We saw a craving for more family-friendly plant-based options and as a mom myself I knew we had a big opportunity with Incogmeato,” Sara Young, General Manager, Plant-Based Proteins at Kellogg Company said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.

“We are so delighted to be working with Disney to help land plant-based proteins on the plates of kids nationwide.”

‘Nutrition parents can feel good about’

John T. King, VP of consumables licensing at Disney, added: “As Disney is committed to offering more plant-based foods, we are excited to be working with Incogmeato on the first-ever plant-based Mickey Mouse shaped nuggets.

“By creating foods that kids love and with the nutrition parents can feel good about, families can experience the magic of Disney during mealtime.”

The Mickey Mouse Shaped Chik’n Nuggets will launch in retailers nationwide starting this month.
