Galaxy Vegan bars first hit shelves in December 2019, with three flavors on offer; smooth orange, caramel and sea salt and caramelized hazelnut.
Now two new options will join the line-up. From September 21, Galaxy Vegan Smooth Mint and Galaxy Vegan Crumble Cookie will launch in Asda stores across the U.K, costing £3 each.
The dairy in the chocolate has been replaced by hazelnut paste and rice syrup. The packaging warns the bars ‘may contain milk’, as they are made in a factory which also handles milk, meaning there is a cross-contamination risk those with allergies should be aware of.
The bars are wrapped in recyclable foil, and housed in a cardboard sleeve, which is recyclable.
Speaking about the new launches, Mars chocolate drinks & treats GM Michelle Frost said the eye-catching packaging could ‘attract new consumers to the category’ – adding that the brand is ‘delighted to extend our range to offer more consumers more choice’.
